Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Polkadot Puddle Press (“we,” “us”) governing your use of the PuddleTales website and services at polkadotpuddle.com. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who may use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. Accounts are intended for parents and guardians, who are responsible for supervising any child’s use and for the information they provide about children.
Your account
Keep your login details secure and don’t share your account. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
Memberships & billing
- The Storytime Club membership is a recurring subscription billed through Stripe on a repeating basis until canceled.
- You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future renewals, and your membership stays active for the remainder of the current paid period.
- Prices and benefits may change; we’ll give reasonable notice of changes that affect you.
Purchases
- Digital books & coloring sets (PDFs) — delivered as downloads for your personal, family use. Files may be watermarked to your account. Please don’t redistribute, resell, or share them publicly.
- Gifts & merchandise — printed and shipped by our print partner (Printify). Delivery times and availability can vary.
- Personalized books — created from the description you provide. You’ll have an opportunity to review a proof and request changes before your book is produced. Because these items are made to order for your child, once you approve the proof and production begins the order can’t be changed or canceled, and personalized items follow our Returns & Exchanges policy below.
Returns & Exchanges
Every item in our shop is custom-printed to order just for you. Because of this personalized production process, we cannot accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for buyer’s remorse, accidental orders, or incorrect size selections. Please review our size charts carefully before purchasing.
Damaged, defective, or wrong items. If your item arrives damaged, misprinted, or is the wrong item entirely, we will gladly replace it at no extra cost. To request a free replacement, please contact us at polkadotpuddlepress@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number.
- A clear photo showing the damage, print issue, or wrong item.
Once verified, we will immediately process your replacement. Please do not mail items back to the return address on the package — that address is a fulfillment center, and your return will be lost.
Our content & your license
All stories, illustrations, characters, and other materials on the Service are owned by Polkadot Puddle Press or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. When you buy or access content, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to enjoy it with your family. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content except as expressly allowed.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Service — for example, by breaking the law, infringing others’ rights, attempting to access accounts or systems you’re not authorized to, scraping or copying content at scale, or interfering with the Service’s operation.
Disclaimers
The Service and all products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded under applicable law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, and we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polkadot Puddle Press and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date, and material changes may be communicated to you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
