Two Umbrellas for Tilly

Tilly carried two umbrellas into the rain: one yellow and one covered in blue dots.
She had one friend beside her, but more children waited under doorways with no game to join.
“Two umbrellas, one more friend.”
First, tilly gave the dotted umbrella to her friend.
They walked in separate dry circles and could not play together.
“Two umbrellas, one more friend.”
Next, they held both umbrellas side by side.
A third child joined beneath the overlapping edges.

Each new player carried an umbrella station or shared a covered space.
